Project Organizations

Project Organisations are the inner caucus of the South African Human Rights and Business Project. These are organisations that:

  • Participate in all the project activities, e.g. the Round Tables, other network meetings and the conference(s);
  • Are involved in various networks regarding business and human rights issues in the country;
  • Have full access to the South African HRCA and the CRA;
  • Provide feedback on the development of the SA HRCA tools;
  • Promote the SA HRCA tools;
  • Use of the focal point; and
  • Sign an MoU with HOM and DIHR.

Another Roundtable Meeting of which the outcomes of the Market Research and the Multi-Stake Holder Conference will be discussed.

National Human Rights and Business Conference: March 18th and 19th, 2008

AICC, in partnership with the South African Human Rights Commission and the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner of Human Rights, is holding a National Human Rights and Business Conference entitled 'Business, Development, and Poverty'.
